Mechanism of action

The main active ingredients in the drug are mepregenol acetate and ethinyl estradiol. Mepregenol acetate blocks the production of gonadotropin-releasing hormone in the mediobasal zones of the hypothalamus, thereby preventing the secretion of follicle-stimulating and luteinizing pituitary hormones. Thus, in males, the development of sperm and the secretion of sex hormones are slowed down. The combined action of ethinyl estradiol and meprenol acetate in males causes a calming effect, correcting undesirable behavior during sexual arousal (rage, aggressiveness, marking the territory). The presence of two active substances that enhance each other’s effect allowed to minimize the concentration of hormones in the drug, which makes its use effective and safe at the same time.

Composition

1 ml of the drug contains:

Water-soluble mepregenol acetate - 4 mg
Ethinyl estradiol - 0.2 mg

Recommendations on storage and expiration date

Store the drug with caution in the manufacturer's packaging, in a place protected from direct rays, inaccessible to children and animals, separately from Foods and Feeds at a temperature of 0° C to 25° C. Expiration date: 3 years from the date of production.

Contradictions

It is forbidden to apply to animals under sex maturity. The drug is contraindicated in urolithiasis, diabetes mellitus, neoplasms of various nature, pathological conditions of the genitourinary system of infectious and non-infectious origin, as well as individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
